Ambrai Ghat
Lake Pichola, UdaipurHistoric lakefront precinct
A quieter lakefront viewpoint offering an exceptional perspective towards the City Palace, Jag Mandir and the surrounding old city.
About Ambrai Ghat
Ambrai Ghat, on the western shore of Lake Pichola, gives the classic view of Udaipur: the City Palace stretched along the opposite bank, with Jag Niwas, the Lake Palace, seeming to float in front of it.
It's quieter than the ghats of the old city, and at dusk it fills with photographers and couples as the palace lights come on. The restaurants of Amet Haveli and Hanuman Ghat are just behind.
