About Lalgarh Palace Museum
The Shri Sadul Singh Museum occupies part of Lalgarh Palace, the residence Maharaja Ganga Singh built in the early twentieth century. Named after his son, Maharaja Sadul Singh, it holds the family's photographs, paintings, hunting trophies and personal possessions.
The collection is strongest on Ganga Singh's era, when Bikaner was one of the most modern of the princely states, with photographs of his travels, his railway and his place in the Imperial War Cabinet in 1917.
