Kote Gate
Old Bikaner, BikanerHistoric city gate
A busy historic gateway into Bikaner's old city, where the monumental past meets the colour and energy of the modern bazaar.
About Kote Gate
Kote Gate is the main entrance to Bikaner's walled old city, a tall arched gateway in the city wall not far from Junagarh Fort. It marks the start of the old city's busy commercial lanes.
The market around it sells textiles, spices and Bikaner's famous bhujia and sweets, and the lanes beyond lead to the Rampuria Havelis and the Bhandasar Jain Temple. It's best seen at the start of a walk through the old city.
