About Moti Masjid Delhi
This small marble mosque in Mehrauli was built in 1709 by the Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah I as a private place of prayer. It stands beside the dargah of the Sufi saint Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki, next to the Zafar Mahal, the later Mughal emperors' summer palace.
It's far smaller than the Moti Masjids of the Red Fort and Agra Fort, but its setting among the graves of later Mughal emperors makes it one of Mehrauli's quieter discoveries.
