The Routes First-Time Visitors Book Most
These are the itineraries we run most often — proven circuits through Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan that answer the question every first-time visitor asks: what's the best way to see North India without wasting days on the road? Each one is paced around real drive times between cities, so the hours you spend in a vehicle buy you something worth seeing at the other end.
They range from a same-day Taj Mahal trip out of Delhi to a twelve-day sweep through Rajasthan's desert and lake cities, with options in between for tiger safaris at Ranthambore and nights in former royal palaces. October to March is the comfortable season for all of them; Ranthambore's best tiger-sighting odds come later, in April and May.

How To Choose
Short on time
The Golden Triangle covers Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in about six days. With only a day to spare, Taj Mahal Tours runs as a same-day trip from Delhi.
Want wildlife too
Golden Triangle with Safari Escape adds Ranthambore between Agra and Jaipur, barely adding travel time. Tiger Trail is the four-day, safari-only version.
Want all of Rajasthan
The Royal Circuit and Maharaja's Legacy Tour both cover Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Jaipur over twelve days. The Maharaja's Legacy version is built around palace-hotel stays.
Good To Know
Frequently Asked Questions
Which of these is best for a first trip to India?
- The Golden Triangle is the classic introduction — Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in about six days. If you have a couple more days, the Safari Escape version adds Ranthambore; with twelve days, the Royal Circuit takes in the whole of Rajasthan.
When is the best time to travel?
- October to March for comfortable weather on every route here. For tigers specifically, April and May give the best sighting odds at Ranthambore, though it's much hotter.
What does a package price include?
- Private air-conditioned road transport for the whole route, local English/Hindi-speaking guides in each city, airport and station transfers, and every driver allowance, toll, parking charge and state tax. Hotels, meals, monument tickets and any domestic flights are quoted separately, so you choose the stays and add-ons that suit you.
Can I change the route, pace or length?
- Yes — every package is a starting point, not a fixed departure. Open it in the trip planner to add or drop a city, change the pace or pick a different vehicle, and the itinerary and price update as you go. Or send us an enquiry and we'll refine it with you.
Will we share transport with other travellers?
- No. Every trip runs privately for your own party, with a dedicated vehicle and professional driver for the whole journey — a sedan for couples, an SUV or larger vehicle for families and groups.
Don't See Quite The Right Fit?
