Landing in Mumbai

Touch down in the City of Dreams and transfer to your hotel. As the sun sets, an easy walk along Marine Drive is the gentlest possible introduction to the city.

The Gateway of India and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in the morning, then a ferry out to the Elephanta Caves. An optional Bollywood studio visit can round out the afternoon.

Down the Konkan Coast
Goa
The Mumbai-Goa drive is a genuine two-day journey along the coast — the drive itself is the point, not just a means of getting there. An overnight halt at Ganpatipule, with its own beach and temple, breaks up the distance.

Arriving in Goa

The second half of the coastal drive brings you into Goa by afternoon, with the rest of the day free to settle in.
